Abekas Trophy (NQW/R) Rules

Each 4-player team must consist of at least 1 lady || Each player to record a minimum of 4 tees shots, which should be evidenced on the scorecard || No player may take two consecutive shots || The ball chosen for the next shot must be marked and, except on the putting-green, the next player must place the ball within 6 inches of the marker, but not nearer to the hole, when the original ball lies on any closely mown
area || When the original ball is not on the putting-green or lies in a closely mown area (i.e. the rough), then it must be marked, and the next player’s ball must be “dropped” within one-club length, as near to the original spot as possible, but not nearer the hole || A ball chosen as the next ball position, that lies in a hazard, must be dropped as near as possible to the original position, not nearer the hole, but must not be
“placed” in any circumstances
